A Practice Standard is the mandated and expected performance standard for a particular task.
A Practice Guideline is the recommended approach to a specific professional task and allows for professional judgement in decision making.
An Advisory Statement is issued to advise and provide guidance to practitioners on issues / practices they need to be aware of and adhere to.

As a member of the College you are invited to make representation via email concerning any aspect of proposed Practice Standards. Please ensure submissions are to be sent PRIOR to the submission due date.
Listed below are Practice Standards NSCP is currently seeking feedback on:
- Needling Standard (replacing May 2014 Acupuncture Standard and June 2015 Acupuncture Advisory) - Please provide feedback by January 30, 2023
